Below are some notes on developing a low noise wiring harness for ES 335 style semi-hollow guitars where internal cavity access is not readily available. Also there is an example of a fairly straight forward noise reduction system for "cheap" plastic body guitar pedals. Anecdotal results show approximately a 30 dB reduction in 120 Hz AC ripple hum. A non affiliate video link is provided that gives a good explanation of the Faraday shielding and ground loop issues.
